After Your Wife Catches You - 2

 Raj stopped explaining. He knew nothing could justify his act. He tried hard to console her. His son saw all their fight. Raj felt embarrassed. He held Preeti's hand and took her to another room. He brought her water but she refused to take.

She cried a lot and then went out in the lawn alone. When she returned Raj was still sitting there. He remained quiet.

"I called Simran" Said Preeti. 

Raj gave her a confused look.

"She told me that you call her again and again. So it's not her fault."

Raj was aghast. He could not expect this from Simran. For few minutes, he was dumbstruck. He felt stabbed in the back but his heart could not believe what Preeti was saying. He just asked her to sleep.

"We will talk about it tomorrow." said Raj

"Talk about it??? There is nothing left to talk about it. Just leave me alone.", she said and went to her room to lie down with her kids. She cried whole night. Raj could also not sleep.

They were at his parent's place and had their train back to his workplace after 2 days. The family members were confused with their behavior.

But Preeti had decided that she could not leave him just like that. She is going to stop him from meeting Simran.

They reached back home. Raj joined back his office. They were living together but nothing was normal. But since that day, Raj had pledged that he will never call Simran again. And Simran was patiently waiting for his call as she had no idea that they are back and he has joined his office.

Days  passed. Every insult Preeti can throw at him, he takes it. Even if he use to talk about others, she connected it to him. Even she said everything in front of their son. And slowly he became habitual of it.

Preeti use to check all his mails and calls details everyday. She never asked him anything about his affair.

"Now, I know why your semen was also low when you came back after that office trip. You was not normal. You behaved in a weird manner."

Raj could not reply. When first time he met Preeti after meeting Simran, he could not look into her eyes. He felt guilty. And he knew she would read his mind. After all, in 20 years of his marriage, he never had to tell her anything, she always understand what he wants?

After one month, Raj was sent for some office work to the city of Simran. So Preeti was anxious.

"I know you must have made this plan on your own."

"It's not true. I don't decide how office will run." replied Raj.

He reached there in the evening. The moment he got down from the train, he dialed a number.

"Hello Simran"

"Hi Raj. Where have you been? Why didn't .."

"Wait, wait. Listen, I can't talk for long. Give me a Whats App call quickly." and disconnected.

Simran called him on Whats App.

"Hello"

"Hi. How are you?" asked Raj.

"I am not good. Why you never called me? I was so worried." said Simran.

"I will tell you everything. I am in your city and ..."

"Really, where are you? Is everything alright? Are you alone?" Simran was happy as well as confused.

"See, I have come for some work for 2 days and will finish work on both the days by 2 pm."

"Okay, And where are you staying? I want to meet you. There are so many things I want to talk about." 

"Now listen carefully. I will be staying with my colleagues. Day after tomorrow, I will be leaving by train at 5:30 pm. So, see where you can meet me? And I wont be able to talk to you because Preeti would be calling again and again to check if my number is busy. So you either message or call me on Whats App only. She must be calling soon so I would disconnect now. Drop me a message as I might not be able to receive call during my meeting in the morning. See you." And he disconnected.

Simran was so happy that finally she would be able to meet him. Tears of happiness rolled down her eyes.

She just hoped that everything goes well.
